The trading name of Sly Boat Building & Repair Centre was born.

Sly Boat Building & Repair Centre was established in 1965 as J L Sly Boat Builders under the direction of Jim Sly. In March 2013, Jim retired allowing his son Martyn to take the helm.

For over 39 years, Martyn’s experience and expertise as a qualified shipwright has earnt him a reputation of being one of the best in the business. Martyn has always endeavoured to provide a high level of quality service to all his customers. Whether it is from building a quality Sabre (from the latest YMS mould) or just a minor repair to your boat, Martyn is happy to assist.
