Aaron remembers when he was a young fella sitting on a stool behind the couch in the lounge room calling cues and pushing buttons for the Logies, he was always fascinated by the technical side of these massive productions. Once he reached high school he was given the opportunity to start operating sound & lighting for some of the small drama shows the college held. This fueled his passion for the industry.
One moment that he keeps coming back to in his childhood, is walking around Lake Wendouree and seeing the huge stage covered in huge speakers and massive arrays of lights, with this curly haired bloke (obviously not Craig) twiddling with all these knobs and buttons, he remembers thinking to himself....”Wow, I’d love to do that for a job one day”.....
During his secondary education he worked as a casual in the storeroom at The Good Guys, eventually being promoted to Salesman in TV and Home Office section.
Throughout his secondary education at Damascus College he was deeply involved with the technical sides of their events to the extent that he began working for the college as the AV Technical Event Co-ordinator after completing a Diploma of Live Production at the University of Ballarat in 2008.
