Chris is the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) delegate for three key roles:
New Zealand Melanoma Standards Committee for the New Zealand Ministry of Health
Melanoma Network of New Zealand (Melnet)
New Zealand Skin Cancer Strategic Planning Group
Attendance at several International World Health Organisation conferences on melanoma
Involvement with the planning and conference executive committee of three national Melanoma summits, working to up-skill practitioners in early melanoma detection
Conference Convener and scientific programme convener for the New Zealand – International Melanoma Summit (Auckland) Nov 2015 which attracted hundreds of delegates from around the world
He was also part of the team that implemented the Australasian Melanoma guidelines, launched at the first Melanoma summit in 2008
