After the amalgamation of the three separate businesses in March 2006 (Outdoor Lifestyles and Entertainment, Transportable Shade Sheds NT and Territory Canvas Works) - Shade and Play Pty Ltd was established. Shade and Play is a locally owned and operated business.

The company designs, manufactures, installs and repairs a range of shade structures and playground equipment for domestic and commercial use. Shade and Play is an NT agent for Miracle Recreational Equipment and are also distributors for Ultra shade Umbrellas and Altegra Gazebos.

Shade and Play furthermore designs, manufactures and repairs PVC and canvas products for the Defence Force and Mining Industries.
