Whether it is called a major car service, a basic car service or a log book service, or a major or minor repair we can look after your car. From engine replacement to new windscreen wiper blades, Repco Authorised Service centres are trained to service most makes and models and have access to schedule manuals and parts.

Below we have listed some of the major areas a Repco Authorised Service centre can cover so you know the extent of our full car service capabilities.

Exhaust

During a full service of the exhaust system, it is inspected for leaks, damage and deterioration. Replacements are made if needed with quality mufflers and components.

Air conditioning

The air conditioner system is inspected for operating pressures, leaks, deterioration or damage to any hoses, seals or components during a full car service. The drive belt tension is also checked and system recharged with refrigerant.

Fuel System - EFI

Repco Authorised Service centres will include full engine tune-up, a fuel injector clean to ensure smooth running, inspection of air intake system and fuel lines, fuel filter and air cleaner check and replacement if necessary, full grease and oil change, full safety inspection and report.

Engine Repairs

We handle minor and major engine repairs. We also supply and fit exchange engines. Alternatively, engines can be rebuilt where no replacement unit is available. If your engine is worn and requires major mechanical work, a reconditioned replacement engine can restore power and economy to your vehicle. All exchange engines are fully guaranteed for quality and performance.

Wheel alignment

We use the latest precision equipment to adjust caster, camber and toe-in of front wheels to prevent excessive tyre wear and ensure your car’s high-speed stability.

Car Servicing

Major service includes grease and oil change plus precision Auto-Tech diagnostic tune-up and safety inspection, and report on your cars overall mechanical condition.

Cooling system

We pressure test the radiator, inspect hoses for leaks and the radiator cap for proper sealing. We also check the coolant level, the water pump for leaks or wear and all drive belts for tension and condition.

Clutch Repairs

We can do a full clutch service including adjustment, hydraulics and clutch pad replacement for all makes and models.

Suspension

We test and inspect all suspension components for wear including ball joints, shock absorbers, control arms, bushes and McPherson struts. We can replace any parts that are worn.

Brake Service

Our brake service includes disc pad or brake shoe replacement on front or rear wheels. We can also provide disc and drum machining.

Transmission

Our automatic transmission service includes replacement of transmission fluid, cleaning and/or replacement of filter plus adjustments as necessary.

Rear Axle

We check the fluid level in the differential. Universal joint and centre bearing checked and replaced if necessary.
