Pound Road Medical Centre (Formerly Amberley Park Medical Centre) opened in Narre Warren South in 2004. Since that time we have relocated to a larger facility on Pound Road to improve the conditions of the clinic and to accommodate patient needs. Pound Road Medical Centre has 12 Doctors, Registrars, 3 Practice Nurses, 10 Admin/Reception, Dietician,
Physiotherapist, onsite Pharmacy, Pathology and Dentist.
The practice is owned by Dr Kamala De Silva and Dr Padma Herath.
Dr De Silva graduated from Medical Academy Sofia/Varna Bulgaria University in 1986. Qualifications: M.B.B.S 1986, AMC 1997, R.A.C.G.P Fellowship 2001, Diploma R.A.C.O.G 2000. Previously Dr De Silva was working in Noble Park.
Dr Padma Herath graduated from the faculty of Medicine Colombo Sri Lanka in 1985. Qualifications: M.B.B.S, AMC 1993, R.A.C.G.P Fellowship 1999. Previously Dr Herath was working in Dandenong.
