Two years ago I made a decision that would change the course of my life. I was at a crossroads - uninspired, single, restless. At 52 I thought I would have it all planned out (who was I kidding?). I needed to do something, and I had always wanted to visit Turkey, so I booked a Gallipoli tour with no return ticket. Maybe I was channeling Elizabeth Gilbert in an 'Eat, Pray, Love' moment, but it was the first thing I’d done in months that felt right.
