The cattery is located in the inner suburbs of Adelaide, in a residential setting with the owners living on site. It has air-conditioning and heating, individual pens and a large communal outside.
The cattery was established in 1990 as Berkana Boarding Cattery, changed ownership in 2001 and then subsequently its name, to Cat-A-Tonic Boarding Cattery, in 2002. From August 2014 the cattery has new owners who are committed to upholding the tradition of providing excellent service and quality individual care.
