Bird’s Basement apologise for the cancellations and ensure that refunds are issued to all ticket holders as soon as possible.

Australian’s working in the arts industry have reported more than $100 million in lost income caused by Australian bushfires and the COVID-19 pandemic, with 380,000 jobs lost and more than 65,000 events cancelled.

During this time where self-isolation and social distancing are strongly advised, there are still ways to support venues and artists.

Now might be the best time to buy that band shirt, pick up their latest vinyl, CD, digital download, or buy a gift voucher to attend your favourite venue and share your love across social media.

Australia’s only music industry charity, Support Acts provide artists, crew and music industry workers with crisis relief. In light of the current pandemic they have set up a COVID-19 Emergency Appeal – I Lost My Gig Australia – to contribute to relieving financial pressures faced by those in the industry.
